Getting started
You answer a short online health questionnaire, about 5 minutes. A U.S.-licensed physician or nurse practitioner reviews it and decides whether GLP-1 treatment is safe and appropriate for you. Some states require a brief video visit. If you're approved, a state-licensed pharmacy prepares your medication and ships it to your door, and your care team stays with you through every dose change.
Getting started
It's usually considered for adults with a BMI of 30 or higher, or 27 or higher with a weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol or sleep apnea. Your clinician makes the final decision based on your full health history. Approval is never guaranteed.
Getting started
GLP-1 medications are not for people who are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding, or who have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2. They're also generally avoided with a history of pancreatitis or certain gastrointestinal conditions. Tell your clinician about every condition and medication.
Getting started
No. Rovymi is self-pay, and the price you see covers your clinician visit, medication, supplies and ongoing support. We don't bill insurance.
Medication
Both are once-weekly injections. Semaglutide acts on one appetite hormone receptor (GLP-1). Tirzepatide acts on two (GLP-1 and GIP). In a head-to-head trial of the brand-name versions (SURMOUNT-5, 2025), tirzepatide led to more average weight loss. Semaglutide has the longer track record and costs less. Your clinician will help you choose.
Medication
No. Compounded medications are prepared by a state-licensed pharmacy for an individual patient on a physician's prescription. They are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality before they're dispensed. They are not the same as brand-name products like Zepbound®, Mounjaro®, Wegovy® or Ozempic®, and they are not generics.
Medication
Vitamin B12 is included in many compounded GLP-1 preparations to support energy while you eat less. It has not been studied as a weight-loss ingredient alongside GLP-1 medication, and we don't claim it adds weight loss.
Medication
The most common are nausea, constipation, diarrhea, reduced appetite and tiredness, usually in the first weeks and after a dose increase. They often ease as your body adjusts. Serious side effects are rare but possible. Read our Important Safety Information and message your care team about anything that worries you.
Medication
It varies. Most people start at a low dose that increases every few weeks, so weight loss builds gradually over months. In large trials of brand-name medication, most loss happened over the first year. Compounded versions were not studied in those trials and your results will be your own.
Plans & shipping
Your clinician review, the medication, injection supplies, dose adjustments at no extra cost, unlimited messaging with your care team and free, discreet shipping.
Plans & shipping
Longer plans cost less per month and are billed up front for the whole period. Your medication still arrives on a regular schedule, and your clinician still adjusts your dose along the way.
Plans & shipping
